Chiropractic Care
At Radiant Health Chiropractic, Dr. Erica DuBois utilizes different adjustment techniques that are selected to meet individual needs based on thorough assessments. Dr. DuBois is trained in a wide range of techniques, from gentle adjustments to more traditional manual methods, to provide the highest level of care.
The purpose of these adjustments is to restore optimal joint movement and function, which helps reduce pain by alleviating pressure on the surrounding muscles and tissues.
Here's more good news! Adjustments aren’t limited to the spine. We commonly adjust other joints, including ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and fingers, to address a full spectrum of musculoskeletal concerns.
Soft Tissue Therapy
Releasing muscle adhesions and tension within the soft tissues can improve range of motion and restore joint mobility. By focusing on specific areas of muscle and fascia, we can target the root of many musculoskeletal restrictions to restore proper biomechanics.
Corrective Exercises
Dr. DuBois will walk you through corrective exercises to help strengthen and correct the irregularities in your body which may be causing pain. Many of these can be utilized in the comfort of your own home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic adjustments.
In addition to skeletal misalignment, you may be experiencing pain that is caused by muscles and connective tissues which are out of their proper place. Other types of pain such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches are caused by muscles and tissues that are being used improperly, causing injuries over time. In each case, targeted corrective exercises and stretches from our experienced chiropractor will help you feel good while also helping your body achieve balance and health.
Lifestyle Advice
Many patients come to Radiant Health Chiropractic to address a specific pain symptom such as back pain, neck pain or headaches. While our chiropractor will address each patient's specific condition with chiropractic care, we often find it helpful to "coach" our patients towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. For example, there may be certain activities that you should avoid or do differently to prevent yourself from unintentionally aggravating your particular health challenges. The goal of including lifestyle advice with a chiropractic care plan is to help each and every patient achieve the fulfilling and happy lifestyle they deserve, one that is full of the activities that are enjoyed most. Patients are whole beings, not a sum of their parts, and individualized plans can be provided to help everyone reach their wellness goals!
